After a stretch of forgettable performances, Rangers right-hander Kyle Gibson put in one of the best starts of his career against the formidable Astros. Gibson stifled the Astros lineup, allowing just four hits over nine innings and striking out nine batters. The 32-year-old offseason addition gave the Rangers a glimpse at the promise that made them sign Gibson to a multi-year contract prior to the 2020 season.
