Possibly inspired by the power surge that has suddenly taken hold of the Yankees lineup, Kyle had a career night at the plate on Wednesday versus the Blue Jays. The 30-year-old catcher went 3-for-4 with three home runs and five RBI in what was a 13-2 victory. Higashioka entered the game with only seven career home runs to his name, but blasts in the third, sixth and seventh innings made him the talk of the town today.
