Coming in as a defensive replacement in the eighth inning to catch reliever Darren O'Day, 22-year-old William Contreras made his MLB debut after a five-year climb through the Minor Leagues. Contreras, who is the brother to MLB All-Star catcher Willson of the Cubs, then came to the plate for the first time in the top of the 10th and cracked an RBI double into the gap in right-center, scoring Johan Camargo and padding the Braves lead to 5-2.
