Shane continued Cleveland's dominance over the Tigers on Saturday evening, leading the Indians to a 3-1 win, their 18th straight victory over Detroit. Bieber was outstanding on the mound, striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings, giving him 54 whiffs in his first five starts. That registers as the third most in Baseball history since the start of the Divisional Era (1969) and the highest total since Pedro Martinez in 2001.
