Justin Verlander reached 250 strikeouts in a no-hitter against the Toronto Blue Jays, joining teammate Gerrit Cole for the impressive season benchmark. The pair became just the second teammates in MLB history to reach 250 strikeouts in consecutive seasons, after Cole and Verlander both posted the gaudy swing-and-miss totals in 2018.
