Sandy Alcantara dominated the New York Mets for nine innings, becoming just the second player in Miami Marlins history to throw a complete game in just 90 pitches or fewer. Alcantara allowed merely two hits and walked just one while sending down eight Mets via strikeout. Alcantara was incredibly efficient, completing the shutout in only 89 pitches.
