Chris Paddack was lights out against the Seattle Mariners, twirling seven shutout innings of one-hit baseball while striking out nine. At one point, the rookie pitcher retired 19 batters in a row en route to securing a 1-0 shutout win for the San Diego Padres. The outstanding performance lowered Paddack's ERA to a minuscule 1.67.
