Following their shocking loss at the hands of Team Mexico, Team USA responded in a big way on Monday. Setting the tone early was their captain and phenom Mike Trout. In the first inning of the game, Trout made it known that USA was not messing around, launching a three-run homer and putting his team up 9-0. USA followed Trout's lead eventually mercy ruling Team Canada at the top of the seventh inning 12-1.
