Team Puerto Rico starting pitcher José De León had an outing to remember in his nation's meeting with Team Israel on Monday night. On the mound, De León carried a perfect-game bid with two outs into the fifth inning, with his three teammates carrying the perfecto to the end. Incredibly, De León's jaw-dropping 10 punchouts tie an all-time single-game World Baseball Classic strikeout record, originally set by Ubaldo Jiménez for Team Dominican Republic in 2009.
