It's no secret that San Diego Padres hurler Dylan Cease racks up strikeouts at a prodigious rate, and he continued doing just that in Friday night's 5-0 road win over the San Francisco Giants. The righty tossed six scoreless frames and struck out 10, with the third of those 10 punchouts marking the 1,000th of his career. The only three pitchers to reach the milestone in fewer innings than Cease (830 1/3) are Yu Darvish, Robbie Ray, and Blake Snell, all of whom were in the building on Friday.
