The hurler gave the Yankees bullpen the night off, tossing a complete-game, two-hit shutout to go along with five punchouts, en route to his 15th win of 2023. The six-time MLB All-Star selection was dialed in from the start against the Toronto Blue Jays to earn his second shutout this season. In the effort, the 33-year-old became the 12th active pitcher to reach 300 career starts. This puts a bow on his superb campaign, finishing with a 15-4 record, 2.63 ERA, and 222 strikeouts.
