Coming off his first ever MLB All-Star Game start, New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole was ready to get his second half going. He was locked in Sunday at Coors Field, striking out seven straight Colorado Rockies at one point to finish his day with 11 whiffs. However, his punchout of Brenton Doyle in the fifth inning was special, as it marked his 24th game with 10 or more strikeouts for the Club. Cole now owns the most games with double-digit strikeouts, passing Yankees great Ron Guidry.
