12th-ranked Colorado Rockies prospect Hunter Goodman has been a welcomed presence since his August 27th MLB promotion. Slotted as the Club's designated hitter on Sunday, Goodman sparked an early 2-0 lead with a two-run triple against San Francisco Giants pitcher Keaton Winn in the second inning. The 23-year-old joins Roberto Mejia (1993) as the second player in franchise history to collect three triples through his first 12 matchups. He's currently slashing a .286 batting average and slugging .500 to begin his big-league career.
