Seattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic has been on a heater the last few games and nearly reached a boiling point during Wednesday's matinee contest with the Chicago Cubs. With homers in his last two games, Kelenic absolutely unloaded on a pitch in the top of the eighth, sending it an astonishing 482 feet. The solo blast, which is now the Mariners longest home run in the Statcast era, landed in the second deck of the center-field bleacher seats of Wrigley Field. "That's probably the furthest I've ever hit a ball," said Kelenic of the majestic blast.
