Seattle Mariners rookie outfielder Jarred Kelenic played the hero last night in the team's 6-5 extra innings victory over their hosts, the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 22-year-old, who had the Baseball world buzzing with his debut back in May, connected for a two-run home run in the sixth inning to make it a 5-1 ballgame, and then after Arizona Diamondbacks clawed back to tie up the contest, he burned them in the 10th inning with an RBI single down the left-field line to score Kyle Seager and deliver his team to victory.
