Just one day after collecting the 1,500th hit of his Major League Baseball career, Mike Trout tied Angels legend Garret Anderson for runs scored for the franchise in yesterday evening's meeting between the Angels and the Tampa Bay Rays. Trout's eighth-inning, solo blast marked his 1,024th run scored for the Angels, the franchise high, and also opened the game's scoring. Trout continues to breeze past milestones, but unfortunately, this history-smithing run scored wasn't enough to hand his Club the victory, as they took home a 4-3, extra-innings loss.
