Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks put on a clinic in Monday night's contest between his Cubs and the San Diego Padres, throwing eight and two-thirds scoreless innings. Over the course of his near-complete game, Hendricks gave up only three hits, all singles, and one walk while striking out seven Padres hitters. His incredible on-the-mound performance gave his Cubs the win, 6-0, and broke their five-game losing streak.
