In Game 5 of the NLCS between the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Diego Padres, Zack Wheeler was called to start, and backed up his Club's offense with a solid, six-inning-long outing. Over the course of his start, Wheeler allowed just three hits and two runs, but also fanned an impressive eight Padres batters in the process.
