Yu's masterful performance on Thursday evening comes at a great time for a Cubs team that is firing on all cylinders at the moment. Facing a Milwaukee lineup that can be quite dangerous, Darvish seemed to easily will the ball past Brewers hitters through seven innings, racking up 11 strikeouts in the process. The only hit he allowed all night was a solo home run to Justin Smoak in the top of the seventh, lining up Chicago for the eventual 4-2 win.
