Ichiro is officially the first Asian-born player to be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The 2001 AL MVP Award and Rookie of the Year Award winner was a 10-time MLB All-Star Game selection. "Ichi" amassed 3,089 hits and set the single-season record with 262 in 2004.
