There's only one chance to make a first impression, and that's something ace Corbin Burnes nailed in his Baltimore Orioles debut. The 29-year-old had a strong showing, punching out 11 over six innings in the 11-3 victory over the visiting Angels. Burnes' whiff total is the most by an Orioles pitcher on Opening Day since Mike Mussina (11) in 1998 and tied the franchise record for most strikeouts by a debuting pitcher (Bump Hadley, 1932 St. Louis Browns).
