The slugger clocked a 439-foot solo homer in the Mets 3-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks, his 29th of the campaign. Furthermore, it was Alonso's 221st career dinger, moving him past MLB Hall-of-Famer and Mets legend Mike Piazza for third all-time in franchise history.
