Lightning-quick shortstop Elly De La Cruz put his speed on display in front of the Rogers Centre crowd in Toronto. The first-time MLB All-Star Game selection in 2024 picked the right pitch to steal his 60th bag of the season in the fifth inning. De La Cruz became just the fifth player in American League and National League history since 1900 to reach the 20-homer/60-stolen base club. "It means a lot," De La Cruz said after the 11-1 win. "I feel so proud, so happy."
