Another shortstop made headlines during Thursday's slate thanks to Pittsburgh Pirates star Oneil Cruz. The Dominican Republic native did his best to attempt a comeback, belting a three-run blast in the eighth inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Cruz's dinger was recorded at an impressive 117.7 mph, making it the hardest-hit longball in franchise history during the Statcast Era (since 2015). The impressive 462-foot tater had enough to make a splash into the Allegheny River.
