Rookie hurler Jared Jones is quickly emerging as the next top young arm to come out of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. The 22-year-old was spot on again, tossing seven scoreless innings of one-hit Baseball against the Colorado Rockies. Jones matched a career-high 10 punchouts on Saturday and became just the 10th player since 1901 to rack up 52 strikeouts through his first seven career starts. Amazingly, his 2.38 ERA currently ranks fifth in the NL among qualified rookies.
