The San Diego Padres just added some more offense to their squad. On Friday, the Padres and Miami Marlins struck a deal to send back-to-back batting champion, Luis Arraez, to San Diego. The 27-year-old, who hit an average of .316 in 2022 and .354 in 2023, is once again enjoying a great season at the plate, currently batting .299. He joins an offense that currently ranks seventh in the MLB in runs per game and figures to improve upon that when Arraez arrives.
