Ryan Mountcastle bore the torch in yesterday's Baltimore Orioles victory over the Oakland Athletics, 12-8, generating an unbelievable nine RBI over the course of the contest. The 26-year-old infielder connected for two home runs, including a grand slam, in the fifth and seventh innings. Remarkably, the nine-RBI outing ties the all-time Orioles franchise record of nine, set by Jim Gentile and Eddie Murray, who did so in 1961 and 1985, respectively.
