Cincinnati Reds rookie star Elly De La Cruz wanted to flex his muscles a couple more times before the regular season came to a close. The 21-year-old took Cleveland Guardians pitcher Lucas Giolito deep to straightaway center field with a solo shot in the fourth inning yesterday. Still looking to do damage, the team's top prospect of 2023 clubbed a breaking ball to the right-field seats at Progressive Field. It's the first career multi-homer game for the young star, who now owns the hardest-hit ball in franchise history at 119.2 mph via his second dinger (Statcast Era).
