Kansas City Royals new addition Logan Porter brought a feel-good moment to life last night when he belted the first home run of his Major League Baseball career in his Club's triumph over the Houston Astros, 10-8. Porter, a clubhouse attendant for the Royals in his younger years, had his long-awaited moment in the limelight when he connected with a pitch from Astros relief man Joel Kuhnel for an eighth-inning, one-run blast. What's more, the career-first longball was smacked in just Porter's seventh big-league at-bat, and in the words of the man himself, "I dreamed of this my whole life…".
