New York Yankees catching prospect Austin Wells joined the MLB debut party during Friday night's 6-2 victory over the Houston Astros. Wells was giving the starting nod and tasked with catching starter Carlos Rodón. The 24-year-old showed his discipline at the plate, working a full count against hurler Justin Verlander and collecting his first career knock on a single to right field to lead off the second inning. With Wells in the mix, Friday's Yankees lineup was the first time that it had four players at the age of 23 years since 1969.
