Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Reese Olson certainly showed he has the stuff to play at the big-league level as he took the mound for the first time on Friday night. The 23-year-old was solid, tossing five innings and striking out six Chicago White Sox hitters. Even more impressive was the no-hitter bid the right-hander carried through the first five innings, making him the first player in franchise history since Bill Slayback in 1972 to record five or more hitless innings in a debut.
