Anthony Volpe - 2023 MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 264 - PR: 7558
Don't look now, but Anthony Volpe just outdid his childhood hero Derek Jeter. At just 22-years-old, the Yankees shortstop blasted his first career grand slam. In the fifth inning of the team's game against the Oakland Athletics, Volpe smacked a ball 419-feet, clearing the bases. In comparison, Jeter didn't hit a grand slam until he was eight days shy of his 31st birthday. But that's not a knock on the Yankees great, with the hit, Volpe passed all other players who donned the pinstripes as the youngest in franchise history to smack a grand slam at Yankee Stadium.
