The Angels star was all over the diamond on Thursday afternoon, collecting a single, double and triple on the day, something not done by a starting pitcher since 1987. He had Angels fans on their feet in the bottom of the eighth when his home run bid fell just feet short of going out of the park - aiming to be the first starter in Baseball history to complete the cycle.
