Chicago Cubs starter Marcus Stroman was able to celebrate a personal milestone during Sunday's contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers - reaching the 1,000-strikeout milestone marker. The 31-year-old right-hander had to work through a nine-pitch at-bat against former NL MVP Award winner Freddie Freeman in the top of the third inning, but ultimately came away with the called strike three. Stroman joins teammate Kyle Hendricks as the only two current Cubs with 1,000-plus career whiffs.
