It was his lone knock of the night, but it extended his hit streak to 16 games, making it the longest in National League history to begin a Postseason career, surpassing Marquis Grissom on that list. The Dominican-born player proved to be a tough out at the plate in the NLCS, hitting .387 with 12 total hits across seven games, earning him the series MVP award.
