Seiya Suzuki - 2022 MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 66 - PR: 5248
Chicago Cubs rookie outfielder Seiya Suzuki continued the outstanding opening act to his Major League career on Monday. The 27-year-old extended his hitting streak to nine games, which ties the longest stretch to begin a career for a Japanese-born player, first set by Akinori Iwamura in 2007 with Tampa Bay. Suzuki also ties Andy Pafko's Club record, as Pafko also began his career with a nine-game hit streak as a rookie in 1943.
