In yesterday's matchup with the Houston Astros, the 27-year-old absolutely smashed a Jose Urquidy offering to the right-field corner for a ground-rule double. That extra base hit left his bat at 119.1 mph – the hardest hit baseball by a left-hander in the Statcast era. This bested the previous mark of 119.0 mph set by, who else, Ohtani once again.
