Just one out shy of throwing a complete game, Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly had an incredible showing in his Club's 4-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies. His incredible performance had a surprising start, as he let up what was to be his only run allowed, in the first inning. After that, it was lights out, as Kelly struck out eight Rockies batters, walking only two throughout the rest of his near-complete game.
