Yesterday, Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie had an outstanding performance in Game 2 of the American League Wild Card Series, setting a precedent with his start that led to a 15-inning shutout for his Club over the Tampa Bay Rays. Over the course of McKenzie's six-inning stint on the mound, the 25-year-old hurler fanned an impressive eight batters while giving up just two hits. Naturally, McKenzie's outing did much to inspire the other seven Guardians hurlers who took the mound after him.
