The 22-year-old superstar entered Thursday's contest between the San Diego Padres and the Miami Marlins one stolen base shy from this historic feat. In the top of the fifth inning, "El Niño" successfully stole second base to secure the 50-50 mark. The previous record was held by nine-time MLB All-Star, Mike Trout, as he needed 266 games.
