The Toronto, Canada, slugger put a drive into a pitch delivered from Joe Musgrove and sent it well into the right-field seats. With this blast, Votto became the fifth Reds player to join the exclusive 1,000 RBI club. The other four players to reach this mark in franchise history are Frank Robinson, Pete Rose, Tony Pérez and Johnny Bench.
