Some tough news out of the Angels clubhouse earlier this week might have dampened spirits a little for Shohei, but it certainly didn't affect any ability. The 26-year-old was diagnosed with a strain of the flexor pronator mass in his right forearm on Tuesday, which will shut him down as a pitcher for the 2020 season. Back in the lineup on Thursday evening as a designated hitter, Ohtani pounced on a 1-0 count and lifted an opposite field home run in his first at-bat, getting the scoring going early in what would be a 6-1
