Shane was outstanding this season, leading all Major League pitchers in wins, ERA and strikeouts — the first to do so since Johan Santana did it with the Twins in 2006. In 12 starts, Bieber compiled an 8-1 record while posting a 1.63 ERA and striking out 122 batters in just 77.1 innings pitched. The Indians ace had double-digit strikeout games in eight of those 12 starts, with a high of 14 back on July 24.
