Sixto Sanchez - MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 230 - Print run: 500
The Marlins starting rotation is ripe with young talent, and Sixto's performance Tuesday was a reflection of just that. The 22-year-old righthander from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, tossed six shutout innings against the Braves, allowing just three hits while striking out six and walking one. While it might have been only his fourth big-league start, Sanchez brought big-time heat. The first batter he faced, slugger Ronald Acuña Jr., struck out swinging on a 100.2 mph fastball.
