With the Astros down, 3-1, to the Mariners in the bottom of the third during Monday night's game, Alex picked no better time to tee off for career home run number 100. On the first pitch he saw from Mariners starter Kendall Graveman, the third baseman connected for a three-run homer that went deep into the left-field stands. The three-run home run was his first of the 2020 season, the 100th of his career, and gave Houston a lead they would not relinquish en route to an 8-5 victory.
