Keibert Ruiz - MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 116 - Print Run: 1342
Playing for a Dodgers franchise deep rooted in prospect development, Keibert continued to add to that history during his MLB debut Sunday afternoon. The 22-year-old catcher from Valencia, Venezuela, who was catching fellow 22-year-old starter Dustin May, stepped to the plate in the top of the third and with one swing became the first Dodgers player to homer in his first at-bat since Garey Ingram in 1994. Ruiz's solo blast tied the game 1-1 and was one of four LA home runs in what would be a 8-3 win over the Angels.
