Yordan Alvarez passed Albert Pujols as the fastest player to reach his 35th career RBI when he drove in Jose Altuve on a double in the sixth inning of an 11-1 win over the Oakland Athletics. Alvarez's RBI double was his second extra-base hit of the game, after the slugging rookie hit a home run in the first inning. It took merely 30 games for Alvarez to reach 35 RBI.
