I Bought the Rumored "Tough" Box

I went ahead and bought the 2025 Update Japan Edition, retailing at 13,200 yen! Even before its release, there were rumors floating around that this was a "tough" box to hit from. But hey, of course I'm buying it—it's the Japan Edition after all!

This time I opened it while enjoying some drinks. That's what makes it even more fun, you know? No matter what comes out, the excitement is real.

The Cards I Pulled

While I didn't pull any mega rare cards, I got some absolutely fantastic ones!

First up, Kershaw—a Dodgers legend. Then Ichiro and Hideo Nomo. Japanese legends all lined up together. Just having this lineup made me pretty satisfied.

What made me even happier was pulling a serial numbered card. And I also got the PCA card that was featured on the package! That's definitely a hit, right?

Tough But Enjoyable

As rumored, it was indeed a tough box. Not exactly what you'd call a massive hit. But strangely enough, I really enjoyed it. Getting multiple legend cards probably played a big part in that.

In the end, the break turned out just how I wanted it—it was awesome. Maybe the drinks helped, but my satisfaction level is definitely high!

The 2025 Update Japan Edition has been called tough, but I think it's a box that anyone chasing legend cards can thoroughly enjoy.
