Watched the WBC exhibition game against Orix. Teranishi's pitching was amazing! Yoshida Masataka delivered as expected. Also went on a shopping spree at the WBC pop-up store in Tokyo.
Team Japan Lost But It Was Still Entertaining
Team Japan lost the WBC exhibition game against Orix, but man, the content was really worth watching!
Teranishi's pitching was especially incredible. That performance was so cool to watch. It really reminded me how deep Orix's roster is.
How Are the MLB Players Looking?
Yoshida Masataka was as good as expected! His batting didn't disappoint. The hitting he's honed in the majors is truly reliable.
As for the other MLB players, well... they're still working on it, haha. They're still in the adjustment phase, so I'm sure they'll be ready for the real deal.
Visited the WBC Pop-Up Store in Tokyo
Separately from watching the game, I also went to the WBC pop-up store in Tokyo! There were way too many types of merchandise, and before I knew it, my basket was overflowing. Totally broke now. But my satisfaction level is through the roof!
I also tried the gachapon machines. I got Kondo Kensuke and Taisei. You two better do great in the actual WBC tournament!
Just a little longer until the real thing. Can't wait to see Team Japan shine.
