The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that OF Steve Pearce and RHP Steven Jackson were optioned back to AAA-Indianapolis after today\'s game against the Astros. LHP Donnie Veal will rejoin the club as his 30-day rehab stint has come to an end. Pearce, 26, was rarely used after being called up on June 21st.
